Public Policy Collaboration (PPC) specializes in stakeholder engagement and public outreach. The firm works with government, business and communities to facilitate public input into decision making by government and the private-sector for controversial projects.
PPC works with task forces, stakeholder collaboratives, and other forms of community groups as well as interagency work-groups to develop effective communication strategies. Work includes situation assessment, consensus building, conflict management, collaborative process design, and meeting facilitation.
PPC specializes in projects that spark controversy including highways, airports, water treatment and recycling, desalination, national parks, waterways, railroads, endangered species, Superfund sites, military base conversions, and OHV areas. As well as focusing on the content of the project, PPC pays close attention to the processes needed to make stakeholder interactions more productive, and to creating the relationships needed for the agency and the community to engage constructively.
